Established in 2019 by technologist, academic, and entrepreneur, Jackson Montgomery, as an Emerging Technologies Consultancy, ProductIF Solutions quickly morphed into an IoT Product Development Company, after seeing a growing need for custom IoT solutions. In 2019 ProductIF (pronounced “Productive”) Solutions developed a device that allows for complete energy control and monitoring in the B2B and B2C markets. The product, trademarked “TripSwitch” was designed with a low price point, a modular design, and a user friendly interface, allowing for simple self-installation and ease of use through a phone application. Since 2019 the product has been refined and gone through complete hardware and software development. It has been nationally and internationally patented as a first of its kind product that is designed to cut energy costs (15%+), allow for energy monitoring, and advances the current market of energy control within homes and businesses. As electric bills continue to rise and be a large part of home and business expense, TripSwitch was designed to cut ~10-15% off monthly electric bills, while earning users a tax credit -and companies carbon offsets- that pay for the device within its first year of use. While smart breaker boxes exist, these solutions involve the use of an electrician, cost thousands of dollars, and cannot be removed or upgraded without another large expenditure. This product takes advantage of the clean energy and IoT movements, while fulfilling a need that exists for a simple device for the automation of energy.
